Description

This March evening view from Turkey has captured more than the Moon, Jupiter and prominent winter stars. Comet PanSTARRS (C/2011 L4) appears as a little fuzzy object with a tail at the lower right over the western horizon of this wide-angle view, almost similar to what could be viewed by unaided eyes. Click on the second photo to see a telephoto view of the lower right corner that shows how the comet was visible by a small pair of binoculars.
