Cap Rock Fireball

The peak of the Perseid Meteor Shower in August as photographed in Joshua Tree National Park near Los Angeles. From the photographer: “Took 2750 shots with 3 cameras over 2 nights, capturing 78 meteors, mostly small, but a few fireballs too. Here is one crossing Orion and Taurus over the Cap Rock, a well known landmark in this rock climbers paradise.”
