Description

Canyon fingers reach out along Canyonlands’ White Rim. I spent 4 days mountain biking this 80+ mile trail but luckily had a car support vehicle to lug my cameras along with me. With 30 mile per hour winds and 30 degree (F) freezing nights, photographing here was no walk in the park! Hearing the wind bang against my tent in the night gave me visions of my camera tumbling off the sheer cliff, luckily it didn’t and I have this photo as a souvenir!

This is a little over 6 hours of exposures stacked using Starstax. Taken with a Canon 5d Mark 4 and a Rokinon 24 mm lens at f2.0 ISO 4000 20 second exposures.
