Description

The northern lights (aurora borealis) appear in the starry sky above suburbs of Yellowknife in northern Canada. At the far edge, near the band of the Milky Way, a fireball (a bright meteor) has also streaked the sky. Click on the second photo to see some minutes later of this view when constellation Cygnus and brighter part of the Milky Way reached above the horizon.
