A Starry Night of Moab
Description
The Milky Way towards the bright central bulge of the galaxy appears over the bizarre landscape of Moab, Utah. A hoodoo is in the foreground. Found mainly in the desert, hoodoos are balancing rocks formed by water erosion and weathering. They consist of soft rock topped by harder, less eroded stone.
