As seen on the National Geographic News this stunning view of the Milky Way above Mount Lassen in the Northern California is captured from Manzanita Lake in the Lassen Volcanic National Park. What a beautiful image! I wish I’d been there! Over here in Scotland we ‘do’ get occasional crystal clear nights like this, but I know I’ll have to wait a long time to match the quality of the photography expressed here.
