A DOT Opens to the Sky

The Devasthal Optical Telescope (DOT), 3.6m diameter and the largest telescope in India is now fully installed, operational and ready to scan the universe. Regular observations begin soon at the new facility. Click the second photo to see the telescope from inside dome.
