Marcy Cohen

Marcy Cohen has spent her life in and around New York City while travelling and photographing in over 60 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia. She became passionate about photography as a teenager roaming the streets of New York City. She has studied photography at the School of Visual Arts and the International Center of Photography in New York City and has taken various international photographic workshops. She has collaborated on various photographic workshops, including Steve McCurry Workshops in India. Her work is included in various galleries and private collections and has been exhibited in the United States and Europe, including on the Paris Metro in a show curated by Martin Parr.She is an Elected Artist of the Art League of Rhode Island, Exhibiting Member of the Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts and the Colorado Photographic Arts Center. Marcy also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Cue Art Foundation, http://cueartfoundation.org/, a not-for-profit contemporary art space in New York City dedicated to creating career and educational opportunities for emerging artists.
