Zodiacal Light Above Namibia

The zodiacal light in the dark southern sky of Namibia. Just above the horizon is Pleiades or the Seven Sister star cluster and the bright “star” in the middle of the zodiacal light is Mars. As noted by the veteran Austrian astrophotographer “The dusty road goes to Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. You can see the yellow glow of this city 150km away”. © Rudolf Dobesberger
