Zodiac Light and Meteor

A diffuse column of light rising up from the horizon on the left (the Zodiacal Light) meets up with a band of stars from the Milky Way, rising up from the horizon on the right. This forms a giant “A” shape pattern of light in the pre-dawn eastern sky. The constellation Orion can be seen at upper right with what appears to be a meteor trail between Orion and the bright star Sirius below. © Mojtaba Moghadasi
