Description

A photo sequence of multiple exposures. From the photographer: “As the Andromeda galaxy set over the southeastern crater of the Etna volcano, my second camera snapped this interesting polar-centered star trail. In the image it is possible to admire the typical vegetation of the slopes of Etna of which the crater to the south east can be seen in the profile under the stars. A snow-covered mantle covers the ground covered with wood twigs probably coming from the nearby gorse bushes. The air is cold (- 6.5 ° C) but the stars comfort us by keeping us company during this wonderful winter evening.”
