From the photographer: “August 24, 2015, the Piton de la Fournaise, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, erupted for the fourth time in the year. Here I turn my back to the eruption located 400m behind to capture the ancient crater Caubet illuminated by the glow of the eruption.”
