View from Zero Point at Pindari Glacier

From the photographers: “The Pindari Glacier is found in the upper reaches of the Kumaon Himalayas, to the southeast of Nanda Devi (Second highest mountain in India). This photograph is taken on a gibbous moonlit night from Zero Point, the final destination on the 45 km long Pindari Glacier Trek. A total of 21 images were taken at 18mm focal length. Many prominent peaks can be seen in the photograph, (from left) Baljuri (5922-meters), Panwali Dwar (6663-meters), Nandakhat (6611-meters), Changuch (6322-meters), Nandakot (6861-meters). Pindari Glacier can be seen the center of the image. A faint meteor can also be seen in the image just above Nandakhat mountain.” – © Atish Aman, Vikrant Narang
