Venus and Comet Pojmanski

As seen on Astronomy Picture of the Day, shining brightly in the east at dawn, Venus dominates the sky in this view over a suburban landscape from Bursa, Turkey. But this morning sky of March 2006 also includes a surprise visitor to the inner solar system, Comet Pojmanski (C/2006 A1), with a green head and a faint tail several degrees long in the upper part of the image.
