Description

From the photographer: “Iguazu river falls (Argentina-Brazil) in near full moonlight on December 11, 2008, when the moon was also much closer to Earth (near perigee) in its orbit. In effect, the moon appeared 14% larger and 30% brighter than usual. The near full phase of the moon offered the most extraordinary effect of this event. These falls are also known as Iguacu falls or Iguassu falls.” – © Renato Seerig
