Trees and a Moonlit Cloudy Sky

From the photographer: “In the image we can see moonlight in a pine forest at Fonte-de-Telha, in Almada, Portugal, and a starry sky with some clouds. In addition to the moon itself, the star Sirius is visible (at left center) along with the stars of the Orion constellation. It’s amazing how the moon can light up the landscape, making visible many colors of nature – like the green grass – that during the night are visually difficult to distinguish.” – © Miguel Claro
