Description

From the photographer: “A flattened 360 degrees view of the winter Milky Way arch with the zodiacal light two hours after sunset in Serra da estrela, around 1500 meters high. The zodiacal light, on the left, is a faint and diffuse light in triangular shape, caused by the reflection of sunlight on dust / particles in the interplanetary space of the solar system. The winter Milky Way also bring us one of the famous constellations of the night sky, the Orion constellation on the right below the Pleiades star cluster, also known as Seven Sisters.”
