Description

From the photographer: “The stork in our village, amidst the night with the full moon. As summer full moon is very low in the sky and the stork in its nest almost static during the night, it was quite easy to calculate, when the full moon would be behind the top of the old brewery chimney. Going as far away as possible made the stork as big as the moon.”

Technical details:
Single-shot with 150-450 f/4.5-5.6 and 1,4x teleconverter @ 630mm f/16 to get a bit of structure on the moon surface. With 85m distance, the stork was too near for the hyperfocal distance, which would be more than 500m in this case.
