The Sky is the Limit

From the photographer: “Coming from a light polluted area where it takes aeons to gather sufficient Signal to Noise Ratio between astronomical Objects and the Sky Background, you really appreciate the conditions in Namibia. Here you can experience, that the Sky really is the limit, not (only) the equipment. However, with a nice Telescope an cold Camera everything is there to explore objects anyone ever noticed, or – if you like – see well known objects as you never seen them before. It does not matter if the gain is of scientific nor philosophic nor aesthetic nature. The existence of the Sky is reason enough to explore it.”
