The Seven Sisters over Armenia

The Pleiades or the Seven Sister star cluster is photographed above Etchmiadzin Cathedral, the spiritual center of Armenia and one of the oldest churches in the world. Click on the second photo to see the church in day-light. The Holy Etchmiadzin is a World Heritage Site originally built over 1700 years ago, when Armenia had just adopted Christianity. The church is located in the town of Vagharshapat.
