The Night of a Kingdom

A night goes by, similar to many thousands of nights which passed over these 2500-year giant engraved rock tombs of ancient Persia kings at Naqshe-Rostam, located near Persepolis in southern Iran. The photographer presented the pass of time with startrails around the north celestial pole, made because of earth rotation, in this hour-long exposure.
