Description
The Moon shines in this bizarre evening view of Sweden. Strong appearance of Nacreous clouds painted the sky in vivid colors. Polar stratospheric clouds (PSCs), also known as nacreous, are clouds that occasionally forms in polar regions stratosphere (at high altitudes of 15–25 km above the ground) during winter time. They are rare and appear bright with vivid and slowly shifting colors within two hours after sunset or before sunrise. © P-M Heden
