The Milky Way Over the Maulazzo Lake

From the photographer: “The Milky Way majestically dominates over the Mounts Nebrodi Nature Park and reflects on the Maulazzo Lake (Alcara Li Fusi, Messina, Sicilia, Italy). The area represents one of the darkest and less light-polluted zones currently in Sicily. The passage of thin veils of clouds and humidity created a diffractive effect, which with its reddish hue adds an extra touch of color to the final composition. In the meantime, people are busy sharing their experiences or playing a guitar by the campfire, greeting the arrival of the night.”
