The Milky Way from Azul
Description
From the photographer: “The Milky Way arches in the sky as if to follow the shape of the hills at Azul, Argentina. The Magellan clouds can be seen at the left of the Milky Way. Domes of light pollution from nearby towns can be seen at each side of the hills. The center of our galaxy, Sagittarius, is centered towards the top of this image. The ‘tire-tracks’ from the Rho Ophiuchus complex near bright Antares are also visible.”
