The Long Lasting Work of Erosion

The dramatic scene of Côte Sauvage in the Quiberon Peninsula of Brittany, France, appears under the light of stars and the communes in the peninsula. The natural night sky toward the ocean in the south (middle) vanishes by light pollution towards the inland at both east (left) and west (right). On the left is the constellation Virgo and planet Saturn (the bright point just above the light dome). Leo, Cancer, and Gemini are on the right. Noted by the photographer: “This is the long lasting work of erosion.
