The Last Crescent Moon of the Year

From the photographer: “It’s very challenging to capture the thin crescent moon, in that time, the Sun is nearly lined up behind the moon, only a sliver like hair of it will be seen, it’s very easily covered by the sun and smog. This was the last crescent of 2017 which captured on Dec 19, the 0.1% waxing crescent moon.”
