Description

From the photographer: “I was waiting for the waning Gibbous Moon to rise, aligned with the Milad tower, and I captured the scene with my telescope from 15km away. The height of Milad tower is 435m. At that night the moon had just passed its perigee and was 361000km away. The barren moon was rising from beyond the haze of civilization. Minutes and seconds were passing and I was wondering how Man’s colony has altered the face of Earth. How human could make the civilizations and build such vast cities. Now Tehran, with a population of nearly 13 millions, is heavily polluted.”
