Description

Looking from Punta di Mola (Marina di Ragusa – Sicily – Italy) towards the edge of the coast of Punta Secca, you can observe the sun setting near the lighthouse in two periods of the year: early April and early September. I never miss these 2 appointments and I go home bringing with me not only the memory in photos of this sunset but also new observations.
On this occasion, the haze condition favored the direct observation of the sunset and not too much effort to photograph it, because the haze filtered and attenuated the sunlight. It was thus possible to film the Green Rim and the Red Rim on the upper and lower edges of the Sun. The light of the lighthouse came on as the sun passed the baton of their daily relentless relay race.
