Tajinaste Rojo

From the photographer: “We should see an intense color of the slightly lit Tajinaste in front of a dark night sky above the Teide National Park at more than 2000 m altitude. Unfortunately there’s a lot of light pollution from the touristic hot spots in the south of the island bringing an intense orange sky near the horizon. Tajinaste rojo, Tower of Jewels, Echinum wildpreti – an fascinating endemic plant at Tenerife.”
