Superstitious Twilight
Description
A Notable Photo of the 2014 International Earth & Sky Photo Contest
From the photographer: “Lost Dutchman State Park is a beautiful state park in Arizona. The park contains many cacti and plants that are unique to the region including the teddy bear cholla shown in the foreground. However, this beautiful park is on the outskirts of the big city and gets a lot of light pollution after the sun sets. The glow on the right horizon is a combination of lights from Phoenix and the town of Globe.”
