A Summer Night in Northern Germany
Description
From the photographer: “Summer nights in northern Germany are often bright, and in June or July there is no astronomical dawn with a sun more than -18° under the horizon. This scene was taken in the high Zicker mountains at the isle Rügen (altitude 67 meters n.n.!) in a warm, windy night. Near the horizon you can see the center of our milky way, left the planet Saturn, right the bright Jupiter.”
