A photo composite of multiple exposures. From the photographer: “Witness the mesmerizing celestial dance captured at a farm near the city of Padre Bernardo in Goiás, Brazil. This image showcases a star trail created from a sequence of 205 photos, each exposed for 20 seconds, resulting in a total exposure time of 68 minutes. With the camera securely mounted on a tripod, focused on infinity, the apparent motion of the stars in the night sky around the southern celestial pole is depicted in this photograph. The photos were taken on August 19, 2017, during an astronomy gathering hosted by the Brasilia Astronomy Club (CAsB).”
