From the photographer: “The 766-year-old historical tower of Eastern Radkan is located in the Toos region of Khorasan, according to Dr. Manouchehr Arin, who has conducted several years of research on the Radkan tower : it is a tower that has the ability to determine the four seasons of the year, the leap year and the beginning of Nowruz.

According to engineer Arin, the Radkan Tower was designed and built along the meridian line by the order of Khwaja Nasiruddin Toosi in 1258 AD. This tower has two doors that are designed and built in line with the winter sunrise and summer sunset.

The night I stepped into the area of ​​the tower, the size of the tower and the darkness of the night, I was afraid for a moment. The sweetness of that fear was my only reward. Taking pictures that night and watching the stars was also a bonus.”
