Description

From the photographer: “La Palma, the western-most island of the Canaries, is one of the most attractive destinations that I’ve visited. A place where the magnificent dark skies combine with eye-catching landscapes, beautiful beaches and much more. These make La Palma the European stargazing paradise and a wonderful destination for astronomers and astrophotographers. Several professional astronomical observatories are located at the highest point of the island, including the GTC observatory which is one of the biggest optical telescopes on the planet, using a mirror with 10.4 meter diameter. I’ve captured this time-lapse videos during my 1-week trip to La Palma in May 2022.”
