Starry Night in Central Portugal

From the photographer: “The night sky in the geographical centre of Portugal, shows it’s beauty in one of the few places where the sky at night is really dark. Although light pollution is still visible, this image was taken at 1,000 meters high at Penedos de Góis, Portugal. Jupiter and the Milky Way shine while I light-painted the rocks as the exposure was made.”
