Starfalls
Description
A Notable Photo of the 2014 International Earth & Sky Photo Contest
From the photographer: “This is the Hug Point waterfall, an Oregon coast landmark that I had waited for years to capture, but I had been prevented because of problems with cloud cover, as well as the difficulty of accessibility, as the falls can only be reached during low tide. However, clear skies this spring allowed me to finally try my luck at this waterfalls that falls right on the beach, less than 100 feet from the Pacific Ocean. These types of waterfalls are rare.”
