Star Trails Reflection
Description
From the photographer: “During the last couple of months, I struggled to find a weekend with clear skies while also being around the new moon. Eventually, the weather forecast seemed quite promising for a clear sky and excellent air quality conditions. The only downside was the fact that it wasn’t close to a new moon and the moon was expected to set around 2:00 AM, but all in all, it wasn’t the end of the world.
The still water of the lake and the excellent air quality were the two contributing factors to these images. The calm water was acting like a mirror, reflecting the starry sky and the nearby plants as a very unique frame, framing one of my most calm images. The relaxing and calm atmosphere during this night was the reason I enjoyed it the most. I decided not to rush to take the shot, however, to set my camera and capture a Timelapse instead, making me enjoy even better the moment.”
