Description

From the photographer: “…in a cold clear night I decided to catch some star trails. I chose the castle courtyard of the Bad Mergentheim castle (49°29’28.26″ N 9°46’33.58″ E).

During one hour total exposure time and freezy -7 °C, the light of the stars fell on the sensor of my camera, and after putting the single frames together, this image was the result.

In this castle, the Teutonic Order rested several centuries ago. Now there is a big museum in it.”
