Description

From the photographer: “When descending from the summit of Puy Mary, a nearly 2000 meters high peak in the volcanic Cantal mountains in central France, I was surprised by this ‘cascade of fog’ flowing over an adjacent mountain range further down my location. The shape of the fog cascade remained more or less stable during the time it took to expose for the star trails. Although this region of France is thinly populated, the light of the villages around – partly covered by fog – illuminates the landscape significantly.”
