From the photographer: “Stonehenge; the iconic monument standing alone on Salisbury Plain in England, is deemed to be one of the eighth wonders of the ancient world. One which connects land, earth and sky – alongside art, science and culture. Our ancient ancestors connection with the sky brings deep meaning and connection to our foreseeable universe – marking the positions of the sun and the moon along the local horizon. Utilised as a one-hour integrated exposure, star trails were captured over the great monument to herald the timeless connection to the deep past.”
