Description

From the photographer: “This moonlit image was taken one day before the arrival of spring. Star trails under the full Moon’s bright light creates a rather unusual scene. The landscape is fully illuminated and the sky is blue, just like in a daylight photo. This image is the result of 209 stacked consecutive shots displaying a small deserted church named Saint John and built at 1919. The church is framed by some ruins from an old house. The sky is dominated by two kinds of trails. Star trails and cloud trails! Note the small gaps on the cloud trails, a result of the 1 second intervals between the shots.” – © Chris Kotsiopoulos
