Description

The International Space Station (ISS) is orbiting the Earth from altitude of about 350 km. Its often visible in the night sky as a bright moving object, and occasionally becomes brightest source in the sky after the Moon, even brighter than planet Venus. In this view the space station is trailing above Lake Ossiach, nestled in the Austrian Alps. The digital image is made of several multi-second exposures one after the other with only a second between each shot, which caused the gaps in the trails. © Tamas Ladanyi
