Space Station over Dolomites

During twilight the International Space Station (ISS) passes the northern sky (right by Polaris near the center) as photographed from Dolomites in the northern Italy Alps. The visible peaks are known as the Sella, a plateau shaped massif in the Dolomites. The image is made of several multi-second exposures one after the other with only a second stop between the timelapse shots, which caused the gaps in the trail of the moving ISS. © Tamas Ladanyi
