Description

From the photographer: “This 180° view shows mirror calm conditions, allowing the southern stars to be reflected in the waters of the Peel Harvey Estuary, approximately 90km south of Perth, Western Australia. Looking directly south, we see the stars trailing around the South Celestial Pole, the imaginary point from which the stars appear to rotate in a clockwise direction, as the Earth spins beneath.”
