Southern Cross from Baja California

The Southern Cross (Crux) and bright stars Alpha and Beta Centauri are photographed at the horizon over the coast of the Pacific Ocean, as seen from Cabo San Lucas at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, Mexico. from this low-northern latitude of about 23 degrees these prominent icons of the southern sky rise a few degrees above the southern horizon.
