Description

From the photographer: “This is a time-slice image, showing vertical ‘slices’ captured at equally-spaced time intervals, progressing from left to right and representing a total period of around three hours. Luck wasn’t on my side for viewing this solar eclipse. I had hoped to produce a high dynamic range time-slice image with the sun in full view, but the clouds had other plans. But no matter! The time-slice technique reveals what a single photo never could – proof that ‘up there’ was an eclipse after all!”
