Sheer Vastness of the Sky
Description
From the photographer: “Due to the rain a few days before, the desert sand was like paste. This was the reason of such dustless and crystal clear sky. Khara desert in central part of Iran is a beautiful place to be guest for stars. In this photo, the Milky way band is joined by zodiacal light next to planet Venus. Zodiacal light can only be seen in very dark and clear skies. In the west, sky has been lit up by the light pollution of the nearby town, Hasanabad. The Panorama is made by Canon 6D and 14mm Samyang lens.”
