Roman Aqueduct and Star Trails

From the photographer: “In Moria, just 6 kilometers from Mytilene Island, you will see the remains of a Roman aqueduct. The preserved part of the arches is 170 meters in length with 17 arches having a heights of 18 meters each. This Roman aqueduct is estimated to have been built in the late 2nd century AD. It was built to carry water from the abundant resources of Mount Olympus to the ancient city of Mytilene, covering a distance of 26-km. In the star trails from left to right are regions of the constellations Ursa Minor, Cassiopeia, Perseus, and Andromeda.”
