Description

From the photographer: “The look from Delicay Valley up finds the road winding up to the summits ridge of Mt. Uludag (Turkey). The high snowy peak looking over the valley is none other than Karatas Peak rising 2539 meters above sea level, one of my favorite spots. I photographed this scene on the drive back down from the summits.”

It’s a humbling experience to see how vast the universe is-by just a small region of it-compared to the littleness and transience of man. It’s both mind-boggling at the same time uplifting to see how organized the cosmos is. The order embodied in the universe is absolutely contemplative especially for those who are awe-struck by it’s incomprehensible wonder.
