Description

A photo composite of multiple exposures. From the photographer: “On the evening of 2021 March 19 a small volcanic fissure opened up in Reykjanes peninsula in Iceland. I knew I had to get an image of the eruption under the dancing northern lights. After 3 attempts it finally paid of. Even though the aurora was weak I got this panorama of the eruption site just before the aurora season comes to an end with the approaching midnight sun.”

The image is made up by 4 images, with Nikon d810a, 24mm, f2.8, ISO800, 2sec.
